I won’t pardon my son, if proved guilty: Ravela

Hyderabad: Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu on Tuesday said that if his son Susheel was found guilty in woman harassment case, the he will definitely have to face consequences. Reacting to the comments made by leader of the opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, when the latter raised the issue of Susheel stalking a woman, the Minister said, “I have asked my son to surrender to the Banjara Hills police, as soon as I heard that a case was registered.
I will not pardon, if he was found guilty in the case.” Earlier, when the session began, Jagan and Ravela traded allegations and counter allegations against each other over the issue. “TDP always respects women. I asked the police to probe into the allegations,” the Minister said.
Lambasting Jagan, Ravela alleged that the YSRCP chief was prime accused in Paritala Ravindra murder case. “The then Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy got his son’s (Jagan) name removed from the case. I would never do anything like this,” he added.
Taking a dig at Ravela’s charge, Jagan asked how Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was allowing a man in his cabinet, whose son was involved in a woman’s atrocity case.
