Chinese team visits Velagapudi
A three-member Chinese delegation along with CRDA officials on Wednesday visited the Lift Irrigation Schemes in Thullur, Rayapudi, Vaikuntapuram and Agathavarappadu villages to supply drinking water to the staff to be posted in the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi very soon.
Amaravati: A three-member Chinese delegation along with CRDA officials on Wednesday visited the Lift Irrigation Schemes in Thullur, Rayapudi, Vaikuntapuram and Agathavarappadu villages to supply drinking water to the staff to be posted in the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi very soon.
They discussed about drinking water demand and steps to be taken to supply drinking water from these Lift Irrigation schemes. They felt that there is need to lay pipelines from the L.I schemes to the Velagapudi where temporary Secretariat construction work is going on to supply drinking water.
The CRDA deputy executive engineer Anjaneyulu explained about the L.I. scheme and it’s capacity to the Chinese team. Chinese team consultancy engineer Ushasri (Delhi), explained about the drinking water schemes to the team members.
