The Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made some strong comments against the TDP Government and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the AP Assembly. During the debate on no-confidence motion moved by the YSRCP, Jagan pointed out to the Assembly regarding a book was written on the murder of Vangaveeti Ranga where it is said that Chandrababu himself was involved in the murder.

Citing the reference, Jagan said that one can judge the mentality of the person at the authoritative position of the government. Responding to the TDP claims that he was provoking various castes against each other, the Opposition leader quoted a poem written by Gurajada Appa Rao and further criticized the Chief Minister for making statements against Scheduled Castes (SC). Jagan even stated that the YSR Congress party staged protests in support of Backward Classes who would have suffered if they were joined by Kapus in the Backward Classes.
