YSR Congress MLA Roja calls HC judgement victory for her constituency
YSRCP MLA Roja who got relieved from one-year suspension from the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday addressed the media and said that it is the victory for the rule of law.
YSRCP MLA Roja who got relieved from one-year suspension from the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday addressed the media and said that it reinforced her faith and belief in the judiciary. Roja asserted that the victory is not just for her but also for the people of her constituency and stated that the High Court verdict came in her favour as her involvement in working towards the concerns of her constituency people was considered.
Interacting with the media, the Hyderabad High Court Advocate Venkateswarulu said that the Speaker's decision of suspending MLA Roja basing on section 340 sub plus 2 is restricted to one Assembly session only and one-year suspension is against the rules of law.
Meanwhile, the interim order fo the court revoking the suspension of the YSRCP MLA is going to face an appeal by the state government. Assembly Legislative Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has reportedly met chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao to take the support of legal system to appeal to the court against the judgement.
