Collector inaugurates medical equipment at govt hospital

Anantapur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar inaugurated a medical equipment costing Rs 20 lakh provided by the Central government to the Government General Hospital here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sasidhar said that the medical equipment is a great boon to the hospital and tuberculosis and AIDS patients as it would help to track micro-organisms in the patient and render effective treatment. He advised the doctors to render dedicated services to the patients and improve amenities as funds availability is no problem, he added.Hospital superintendent Dr Venkateshwararao, DMHO Venkataramana and RMO Dr Sudhakar Babu were present.
