Vignan girl student gets 10 lakh job
A function to felicitate Vignan University student Podapati Swathi was held at the university campus here on Wednesday following electronic giant Samsung offering the engineering student (CACE) placement with a total CTC of Rs 10 lakh annually after six months of training.
Guntur: A function to felicitate Vignan University student Podapati Swathi was held at the university campus here on Wednesday following electronic giant Samsung offering the engineering student (CACE) placement with a total CTC of Rs 10 lakh annually after six months of training.
Vignan College principal Dr Phanindra Kumar said that Swathi figured among 11 students shortlisted by the Samsung. Thanking the management for showering praises on her, Swathi, who hails from an ordinary farmer’s family of Gudimellapadu, said that she was not a rank student till Intermediate and noted that she had secured 19,444 rank.
She attributed her selection to the GATE coaching that she had received in this college. Vignan institutions chairman Lavu Rattayya, vice-president Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu and others congratulated Swathi for her achievement.
