Andhra University teacher walks worldwide

Visakhapatnam: Prof M Adinarayana, Department of Fine Arts, Andhra University has successfully completed his ‘world walking’ covering 35,000 kms of which 22,000 kms in India alone by March 20. He told reporters here on Sunday that he had covered 14 countries including Nepal, Bhutan, China, Iran, Norway, Sweden, France, Italy, Britain, Scotland, Mexico, Brazil, Nigeria and Tasmania Island spread over six continents of Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Australia from the year 2010.

Presenting various photographs clicked in different countries, Prof Adinarayana said that his mission was only meeting people of different nations to experience different life styles. He also informed that he had passion for walking for the last 30 years and penned five books incorporating his experiences and thrilling in the walk.

When asked how it was possible to take up walk in other countries, he informed that he was able to do it with the help of his friends present at the respective countries. He said that he would continue his passion of walking in future.
