Joint Collector visits paddy procurement centres in Nellore

Nellore: Joint Collector Imtiyaz paid surprise visits to the paddy procurement centres (PPCs) in the district on Sunday. He visited paddy procurement centres in Manubole and Sydapuram mandals and interacted with farmers. Farmers in Madamanur village informed to the Joint Collector that rice mills have not been allocated for them though they had brought paddy from the fields.

He spoke to the officials of the civil supplies department and allocated rice mills for them. He also visited Kalichedu procurement centre and allotted rice mills for the local farmers. Revenue and civil supplies officials accompanied the Joint Collector.
