Tirupati: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao called upon the officials of TTD to gear up for another mega event-Krishna Pushkaralu, which is lined up in the next four months.
Reviewing with the senior officials during the weekly meeting held in his chambers on Monday in Tirupati, the EO asked the officials of the respective departments to chalk out an action plan. “Keeping the past experience of Godavari Maha Pushkaralu which took place during year last, each department should offer much better services in their respective areas. The TTD press should bring out new books depicting the importance of Krishna Pushkaralu,” he added.
The EO instructed the officials concerned to prepare the list of the subscribers of Sapthagiri magazine, who have subscribed in the last two years. “A separate IT application may be designed and the books may be delivered to the subscribers without any further delay,” he added. The EO also instructed the engineers to complete the pending works at information counters in Chennai and Bangalore and make summer relief arrangements including laying white coolant paints. Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, Special Officer All Projects Muktheswara Rao, Additional FACAO Balaji and other officers were also present.

As TTD is set to observe year-long Sahasrabdi celebrations of the Vaishanava Saint Ramanujacharya, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has reviewed the progress of works.
Participating in a meeting in his chambers at Administrative Building in Tirupati here on Monday, the TTD EO has instructed the officials concerned to come out with a specific action plan for the big event. He asked the officials concerned to make preparations for Ramanuja Sahasrabdi birth anniversary celebrations which will be held on May 10. “The SVBC should relay special programmes on Ramanujacharya while Sapthagiri should bring out special edition and regular lectures on the works of Ramanujacharya,” he added. Meanwhile, Varadarajan and Ramesh, the representatives of Ramanujacharya Darshana Kainkarya Trust from Chennai, have met TTD EO in connection with this event.
