Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the State government is planning to provide Wi-Fi facility in all villages for the benefit of unemployed youth.

The Chief Minister flagged off Udyogaratham, a joint venture of TMI group and Kesineni Trust, an employment bus that connects job seekers to employment opportunities at Siddhartha College here on Thursday.

The Chief Minister asked the organisers to launch similar services in Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. He also launched jobsDialog, India’s first mobile-based recruitment solution for MSMEs.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the State government will provide Fiber Net facility by July and Wi-Fi services in villages for the benefit of unemployed youth. He said that the government is planning to introduce online power metering system in the State to facilitate energy auditing.

The Chief Minister stressed the need for tapping best human resources available in the State. He maintained that the foreign companies set up in Sri City are praising the human resources in the State.

He said that efforts are on to set up industrial parks in all 175 Assembly constituencies and develop export facilities for local products. He said that the State government is giving priority for skill development.

Inviting innovative ideas from CEOs to improve employment facilities in the State, the Chief Minister said that the State government itself is a best start-up company as it was able to pool 33,000 acres of land for capital development and called it as a success story.

He said the growth rate in AP stands at 10.99 per cent and the State stood in third place in attracting FDI which stands at $6 billion.

Earlier, addressing the meeting, TMI group chairman and managing director T Muralidharan said that the Udyogaratham would help the job seekers who do not have internet access and find it difficult to find employment opportunities.

The profiles of the candidates would be registered and forwarded to the companies looking for candidates. He said JobsDialog would provide recruitment solution to MSMEs.

Minister for Human Resources Development and Education Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister for Water Resources Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and others were present.
