Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday said that people are his family members and State his home. He said he was working round the clock to develop the State and ensure welfare of the people.
“I am not even spending time with my grandson at this age and working all the time for the people and State,” he said while welcoming the Srisailam legislator Budda Rajasekhar Reddy into the party.
Addressing the supporters of Rajasekhar Reddy at a meeting at Tadepalli on the banks of river Krishna, Naidu took a dig at the YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, for making baseless allegations against him in Delhi.
He said that the farmers had given the land for capital reposing their faith in his leadership. The government would give them their due share as promised and wondered where the scope for corruption in the land dealings at Amaravati was. Stating that Jaganmohan Reddy was spreading false news against him, he pointed out that YSRCP legislators and leaders were not buying those lies. “It is for this reason, the YSR Congress legislators are joining TDP,” he said.
He said he was committed to develop the State as number one in the country and make it a global destination. The cited the initiatives he had taken during the last two years to develop the State as industrial, tourism and business hub. Welcoming the Srisailam legislator, the Chief Minister said he would take every step to develop the Srisailam temple town on par with Tirupati. He said his government had chalked out plans to develop Srisailam temple and the town.
