Bank manager goes missing

The manager of the main branch of State Bank of India (SBI), Eluru was found missing since Saturday night. Police said that Gurantla Venkateswarlu (34), a resident of Ashok Nagar took his wife and five-month-old kid to Venkateswara Temple in Ramachandraopeta on Saturday evening.

While returning, he stopped near Siva Temple in Pathebadha and told his wife Sai Lakshmi that he would come back in a few minutes. His wife who waited a long time called his mobile only to found it being switched off. She returned to her house assuming that Venkateswarlu would return later.
However, on Sunday evening, Sai Lakshmi approached two town police and complained that her husband was missing. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
