APEPDCL surpasses revenue target

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEPDCL) has registered another best record of
collecting a revenue (including arrears) of Rs 7,740 crore surpassing its annual target of Rs 7,712 crore for the 2015-16 fiscal registering
100.39 per cent.
This is the second best record that the EPDCL has achieved in the recent past, the first being its best performance in reducing the
distribution and transmission losses to the lowest minimum at the national-level under the guidance of company CMD R Mutyala Raju.
The CMD informed The Hans India on Wednesday that the revenue collection during 2014-15 was Rs 6,975 crore against its target of Rs
7,016 crore adding that this record revenue collection was the best achievement of the company since its inception. “All these best
records and achievements are possible with the performance of the entire staff and officials,” he added.
