Four of a family killed in road accident
In a tragic road mishap, four persons belonging to a single family were killed and one sustained severe injuries on Thursday morning. The accident took place at Patnam village in Mudugubba Mandal when the car in which five persons were travelling hit an RTC bus.
Kadiri (Anantapur): In a tragic road mishap, four persons belonging to a single family were killed and one sustained severe injuries on Thursday morning. The accident took place at Patnam village in Mudugubba Mandal when the car in which five persons were travelling hit an RTC bus.
The mishap occurred when the speeding car coming from Bellary tried to overtake an autorickshaw at Patnam village and hit the RTC bus coming from Anantapur. The deceased include Anjeneyeulu Naidu (60), Ramaiah Naidu (42), Swaroopa (32) and Eshitha Sai (10). The lone survivor is Sunitha, wife of Ramaiah Naidu, who suffered severe injuries and was admitted in Anantapur government hospital.
The dead bodies were sent for postmortem. In a statement, the Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha and IT Minister Palle Ragunatha Reddy expressed shock over the death of four members of a family. The Ministers asked the hospital authorities to ensure quality treatment to the lone survivor Sunitha.
