Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that he would move like a bullet to implement all the promises made before elections to take the state forward on all fronts. Stating that opposition parties, including the main opposition YSRCP was creating hurdles at every step, Chandrababu Naidu said that nothing would deter him from achieving the goals he had set to create “Navyandhra Pradesh”.

Naidu said his aim was to see that Andhra Pradesh was poverty-free, drought-free and become a role model for all other states in the country. Naidu said that he was ashamed of even taking the name of the opposition leader whose only objective was to stall development. The government had drawn up a perfect road map to make Andhra Pradesh to be the best state in the country. The chief minister said that plans were ready to make Amaravati into a green field city.

It would have the best of infrastructural facilities, an outer ring road which would be bigger than the Hyderabad ORR. Plans were to create express highways to Kadapa and Anantapur as well. It is unfortunate that Y S Jagan was opposing even the express highway and was trying to incite the people who would lose land.

Emphasising that law and order would assume top priority, the Chief Minister praised the hard work of police personnel and home guards. He said a situation should arise where even in places like Pulivendula, people should vote voluntarily. “At present it is rowdyism that rules roost there,” he said.

Referring to the commitment of TDP government’s industrial growth, Naidu said traditional methods in establishing the industries are now out-dated and the prosperous entrepreneurs should come forward with the latest technological concepts. He emphasised on the need to improve the infrastructure facilities in promoting industrial growth with fixed targets.

Apart from the industrial growth, he said it was equally necessary to utilise the human resources. “The TDP Government has committed to develop the state in multi-dimensional manner with the active participation of the public,” he added. He called upon the TDP cadre to play an active role in kicking out corruptive elements from society.

The administration should rededicate for ensuring better fruits for public without entertaining corruptive practices at any level, he added. In the drive to remove corrupt practices, the government has introduced e-pass system in Public Distribution System. As a result the real beneficiaries were getting their quota without exploitation by the middle-men or the ration shop dealer. “There is a serious proposal to hike the commission for the fair price dealers with a determination to eliminate corrupt elements,” the CM said.
