Vijayawada: State BJP leader Ravindra Raju said on Sunday that Union Minister Smriti Irani will participate in the party functionaries’ meeting to be held in the city on June 7. She will also address a public meeting thereafter. He addressed the party workers here on Sunday.
Ravindra Raju said the BJP is conducting meetings in 200 cities across the country to mark the two years rule of the NDA government, and meetings will be held in seven cities in State. He asked the party workers to attend the meeting in a large number to make it a grand success.
Former MLA Velampalli Srinivas and other local leaders attended the meeting. The BJP leaders discussed the welfare schemes being implemented by NDA government in the country.
