Telangana State Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Ali on Sunday visited the famous Muslim pilgrimage centre of Khazar Nayab Rasool Dargah in AS Peta along with his family members and offered special prayers. Later speaking to media, the deputy chief minister highlighted the importance of the dargah and said that it was the third time that he was visiting the place.

Later speaking to media, the deputy chief minister highlighted the importance of the dargah and said that it was the third time that he was visiting the place.

Stating that visiting the dargah had done well to his family, he said people of Hyderabad and the pilgrimage center share an inseparable bond. Stating that both the Telugu-speaking states should conduct themselves as brothers, he said Telangana regards Andhra Pradesh as its elder brother.

The Deputy Chief Minister prayed at the dargah for the good of the two states. He felt special status to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is vital. He said that he would discuss with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and initiate measures for development of the dargah. Earlier, religious leaders of the dargah and officials extended a traditional welcome to the deputy chief minister.
