Quality management essential for achieving success: Biswas
Quality Council of India, New Delhi, Chief Executive officer, C K Biswas, said all organisations must have the good quality management system to achieve success and the objectives. He said all companies have men, material, machinery and resources but good quality management is very crucial to the success of any company.

He addressed a seminar ‘Practical Risk Assessment based on ISO 9001-2015’ organised by Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCFI) at the chamber’s office here on Tuesday. The Quality Council of India, a Central government organisation, is conducting seminars on the importance of quality control in many cities of India.
As part of the national campaign, C K Biswas visited Vijayawada and addressed entrepreneurs and executives of some companies here. He said high-quality management reduces the cost of production and increases the quality. He said improving the delivery system and reducing the wastage are also important aspects of the good quality management.
He said Indian companies are doing their best to achieve the success. The Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry Federation honorary executive director P Bhaskara Rao said the Chamber is conducting various kinds of programmes to increase the efficiency of the companies and promoting the industrial development by conducting seminars and workshops.
Quality Council of India principal trainer M Chandra Sekhar said good vision and direction are very important tools for the success of any company. He said the leader must assess the risk of the companies and lead the company to achieve the goals. Representatives of various companies participated in the one-day workshop. He explained how top level companies in the world achieved success with good quality control and risk assessment. Certificates were presented to the participants.
