Pulses distribution centre launched

District administration began pulses distribution in city on Wednesday at subsidised rates. Joint Collector A Md Imtiyaz launched the distribution centre at Rythu Bazaar located in Pappula Street. He said more such centres for distribution of red gram and black gram will be opened soon.

He stated red gram will be sold at Rs 120 and black gram at Rs 150 at distribution centres. He said that these two pulses were being sold at Rs 180 and Rs 200 respectively in open markets. District Supply Officer Dharmareddy and representatives of chamber of commerce were also present.
