Addressing media conference at Nutan Clinic 7 Studio in Suryarao pet, Dr Nandini said lakhs of children in India are suffering from various neurological disorders and parents are losing hopes of their recovery. She said the patients and their patients need not worry about the Neurological disorders due to the technological advancement made in the field of Bone Marrow Therapy.

She said Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cells Therapy developed by NeuroGen, Brain and Spine Institute, Stem Asia Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, will cure many disorders. She said Stem Cells would be collected from the person’s own Bone Marrow with the help of one needle and are injected back in their spinal Fluid after processing to rectify the problem.

Since Stem cells are taken from the patient’s own body there is no rejection, no side effects, hence making the patient a completely safe procedure, Dr Nandini added. She said India is in progressing fast in Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cell Therapy and Stem Asia Hospital in Mumbai has treated more than 3,000 patients both children and adults.

She said Mental retardation, Muscular Dytropy, Spinal Card Injury, Paralysis, Brain Stroke, Cerebellar Ataxia, Spino Muscular Astropy and other Neurological disorders can be cured with qualified doctors at the Mumbai hospital. Dr Nandini said the patients have to visit Mumbai for the case study and treatment. Replying to a question, she said the Hospital is planning to open a branch in Vijayawada.

She said Stem Asia Hospital is seeking the co-operation of Andhra Pradesh government to treat more patients in AP. She said many NGOs are donating money to the poor patients suffering from Neurological disorders in India.

She said India, China and other East Asian countries are making rapid progress in Bone Marrow derived stem Cell therapy and many NRI patients from Gulf, US, UK and other countries are visiting the Stem Asia Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. She said a medical camp will be conducted at Nuthan Clinic 7 Studio in Suryarapo pet on June 25 to study the cases.
