Amaravati: Guntur Central Crime Station police officials arrested two thieves while they were moving suspiciously at Flower Market near Lalapet Police Station in Guntur city on Thursday. They recovered property worth Rs 4.1 lakh from them. According to Guntur urban ASP (Crime) B P Tirupal the accused Devarakonda Ramababu of Vijayawada his friend Tummala Nageswara Rao of Guntur city were accused in theft cases in Guntur city.

They came to Flower Market with gold ornaments. During the interrogation, they confessed to crime. The police recovered 130 grams of gold 69 grams of silver and Rs 30,000 in cash from them.

The accused also involved in house breaking cases in Visakhapatnam East Godavari, West Godavari and
Guntur districts.
