Bottling plant to initiate inquiry

Eluru: Sri Sarvaraya Sugars in a statement released on Tuesday clarified that it would initiate inquiry proceedings on the issue of ‘dead snake’ in Thums Up soft drink bottle.

It may be noted here that ‘The Hans India’ issue dated June 13 published a report titled ‘Dead snake found in soft drink bottle’.

The statement also read that the distillery follows the Coca-Cola’s operating requirements, to ensure consistency in quality products. It has stated that it will require ascertaining the authenticity of the bottle and examining it to determine the cause of the presence of foreign particles in the bottle.
