Tirupati: As part of ongoing five-day annual Float Festival in Tiruchanur near here, the third-day is dedicated to the idol of Goddess Padmavathi.
The processional deity of the Goddess was taken in a procession from the temple to the temple tank (Pushkarini) for mounting on the tastefully decorated float for a pleasure ride on the waters of Pushkarini, on Saturday. Devotees in good number turned to witness the colourful religious event.
