Speaking on the occasion, Ramakrishna said that Narendra Modi promised to bring back the black money within 100 days of coming to power but failed to fulfill do it even after two years of his rule.

“Venkaiah Naidu cheated Andhra Pradesh. He failed to convince the Central government to get special status to the State. Attacks on Muslims, Christians and other minorities are increasing in the BJP rule and many social activists were murdered in the country in the hands of sangh parivar forces,” he alleged.

The CPI leader said that Chief Minister failed to fulfill pre poll promises like loan waiver, liquor ban, generating employment and getting special status to Andhra Pradesh. “Naidu is shedding crocodile tears on special status and maintaining relations with the BJP,” he lambasted.

“Naidu made 681 pre poll promises and fulfilled only 112 during the two year rule. He is using excessive force to suppress the rights of farmers, who are unwilling to part with their lands in new capital,” he accused. Former MLC J Wilson, CPI State leader Y Venkateswara Rao and others leaders present at the meeting.
