There is a cold war running in the village between the TDP and BJP. AP State Animal Husbandry Development Corporation chairman Yalla Dorababu of the BJP and Amalapuram Market Committee chairman Gunisetti Chinababu of the TDP are drawn into the cold war in spite of the alliance between the TDP and the BJP.
Amalapuram: In the presence of two Ministers, activists of BJP and TDP resorted to slogan-shouting against each other at the Primary Health Center inauguration function held at Bendamurlanka of Allavaram mandal in East Godavari district on Wednesday.
Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas and Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa participated in the programme.

Peeved at the slogan-shouting by activists of allied parties against each other, Chinarajappa at one stage had to intervene and threatened to put them behind the bars if they did not mend their ways.
Later, the Ministers took part in the PHC inauguration. Local legislator Aitabattula Ananda Rao presided. The Ministers explained the schemes of NDA government at the Center and TDP government in the State.
They asked leaders of both the parties to work together. Later, the Ministers proceeded to the house of a local BJP leader (ALDA Chairman) to prove there were no differences among TDP and BJP leaders. P Gannavaram legislator Pulaparti Narayana Murthy and former MLA Manepalli Ayaji Vema and others took part in the programme.
