The Yacht Club of Hyderabad (YCH) will be conducting the eighth edition of Deloitte Monsoon Regatta in Hussainsagar Lake from July 14. Around 100 entries, including one each from Germany and UK, are confirmed for the championship.
The Yacht Club of Hyderabad (YCH) will be conducting the eighth edition of Deloitte Monsoon Regatta in Hussainsagar Lake from July 14. Around 100 entries, including one each from Germany and UK, are confirmed for the championship.
The Deloitte Monsoon Regatta will be sailing the Americas Cup format for the first time in India. The Regatta will feature fleet racing in the Omega Class and the Optimist Class.
The top seeded team in the Omega Nationals will be Imo Lemnok and Gaurva Randhawa from Navy. Mark Schamp of Germany and Robert Oates from the UK will sail with an Indian crew. Hyderabad will be represented by Rishab Nayar, Tanish Desai and Praveen Kumar.
