Amaravati: MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy on Wednesday assured aspirants of army selection that he would discuss with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and take steps to impart necessary training to the youth who participate in the army recruitment rally to get selected.
He said that he was proud to have army office in Guntur to meet the needs of seven districts. He met army recruitment officer Druva Chowdary and enquired about army recruitment rally.
He appreciated the GMC for providing facilities to the candidates who came here to participate in the rally. Army recruitment officer Druva Chowdary said that only fifty percent of the candidates were attending physical tests. He said that they would maintain transparency in recruitment and merit is the criterion for selection.GMC Additional Commissioner Krishna Kapardhi also spoke.
