The Opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress has come forward alleging that the Chandrababu Naidu government is looting people in the disguise of Krishna pushkarams.

Addressing the media on Thursday, YSRCP leader Parthasarathy alleged the Chief Minister's office is involved in the corruption involving thousands of crores of rupees and is deliberately delaying the pushkaram works further, nominating contractors in the last minute making a well-planned strategy.
Demanding probe into the pushkaram works in order to establish the truth, the YSRCP leader even mentioned last year's tragedy of Godavari pushkarams where 30 people lost their lives in the stampede due to the Chief Minister's bid to acquire publicity.
He even added that the commission appointed to probe into the stampede did not question Chandrababu for the happenings, thus indicating how the commission report was going to be.
