He laid the foundation stone for the development works in Santhabommali mandal headquarters under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) on Saturday as he had adopted the village.
Speaking on the occasion, the MP came down heavily on BJP for not granting Special Category Status to the State. TDP has been supporting the BJP and joined the NDA only for the development of the State and not for power and posts, he clarified. All the TDP MPs would meet in Vijayawada on Sunday to discuss the issue under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and later would decide future course of action, the MP said.
