The onlookers and visitors at the Ballikurava Mandal Parishad office witnessed a tense situation on Wednesday as Karanam Balaram and Gottipati Ravi Kumar, the rival leaders from the ruling party tried to dominate each other.
Addanki assembly constituency has 2647 pension holders. The officials at Ballikurava made arrangements to give pension to 706 pensioners in that mandal.
Gottipati Ravi Kumar, MLA of Addanki reached the MPDO office on Wednesday morning to distribute the pensions when Karanam Balaram, the senior leader of TDP and Telugu Raitu President was conducting a review meeting with the irrigation officials there.
