Indira Gandhi National Open University offers legal courses for July 2016 session
Raja Rao told The Hans India on Friday that any graduate is eligible for admission and the medium of study is English, while the course fee for PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights is Rs 8,500 and for the PG Diploma in Criminal Justice is Rs 9,000.
Visakhapatnam: Local regional centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights and Criminal Justice for the July, 2016 session, according to Regional Director S Raja Rao.
Raja Rao told The Hans India on Friday that any graduate is eligible for admission and the medium of study is English, while the course fee for PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights is Rs 8,500 and for the PG Diploma in Criminal Justice is Rs 9,000.
He said the legal courses would be taught at the study centre set up at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University here and candidates belonging to north coastal Andhra, East and West Godavari districts and Yanam district of Puducherry can apply.
Apart from this, Raja Rao informed that admissions are in progress for 15 Masters courses, six degree, PG Diploma and Diploma courses.
Common prospectus will be available at the regional centre, Ushodaya Centre at MVP Colony or study centres located in Vizag, Kakinada, Rajahmahendravaram, Amalapuram, Gajuwaka, Vizianagaram, Etcherla and Rajam for Rs 200 at the counter.
He said the last date for applications is August 17 and with a late fee of Rs 300 up to August 31. To benefit the candidates seeking admission, the regional centre will remain open on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30 am to 6 pm and candidates can also log on to https://onlineadmission.
