Visakhapatnam: Local MP Dr K Haribabu said his two years term was successful and satisfactory as many Central projects were envisaged for the district. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the MP, however, found fault with the then UPA government that prepared Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act in which it was stated that the government will only look into the feasibility of setting up a separate railway zone for Andhra Pradesh.

Regarding Special Status, he said though it was not technically possible, but the BJP will do its best to get it in the interest of the State. Haribabu added that the Centre was determined to complete the construction of Polavaram project before 2018 and said both the Centre and State governments will share the expenditure in 90:10 ratio.
