Rajamahendravaram: Students of Dafne Asiatic School decided to make clay Ganesh idols and embarked on a journey towards a clean planet. The canvas was set on Thursday.
Students made Ganesh idols for the upcoming Vinayaka Chaturthi. Chairman T Sridhar emphasised that parents and students should know about the consequences of using Ganesh idols made with plaster of paris.
Students were shown a video for assisting them in idol making through eight simple steps. Director Srividya stated that the workshop was another attempt towards a greener environment.
