Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has bagged the prestigious Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar for the year 2015-16.
Company Chairman and Managing Director P Madhusudan received the award from President Pranab Mukherjee at a function in New Delhi on the occasion of Hindi Divas at Rashtrapthi Bhavan on Wednesday.
The RINL has received the award for effective implementation of Hindi at its headquarters as well as marketing and liaison offices across the country. After receiving the award, Madhusudan said that the national award would reflect the company’s commitment towards implementation of Hindi and congratulated the RINL-collective for the award. It also bagged first prize in the ‘C’ region for its quarterly Hindi magazine Sugandh.
