Visakhapatnam: Father of modern Indian legal education N R Madhava Menon opined that legal system has failed. “We are imparting legal education in 21st century with the tools of 20th century and the mindset of 19th century,” he remarked.
Delivering a key note address at the 9th Foundation Day celebrations of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) here on Friday, Madhava Menon said that university must be universal without restricting a particular place. He said that DSNLU was operating in right direction working from three different campuses in the last eight years.
“Today, the entire world is reduced to a global village and accessing knowledge from the best universities across the globe, is possible even from any remote corner of the world using technology,” he added.
