Visakhapatnam: The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited has been declared as the first Runner-up in achieving fastest rural electrification in the last decade and for the innovation distribution of LED bulbs to households by the Independent Power Producers’ Association (IPPAI).
The award was received by the company Executive Director B Ramesh Prasad at a function held in Goa during September 22-25 from the Chairman of Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission Raja on behalf of EPDCL CMD M M Nayak.
