Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that he would do justice to the activists who worked for the growth of Telugu Desam Party. He said he would visit the TDP State party office and spend time with the workers.Addressing the party workers after unveiling a 10-ft statue of late Chief Minister NT Rama Rao at the TDP State party office in Guntur, he said the government would construct the capital and implement various schemes for the welfare of the poor. The TDP would support the weaker sections in Telangana State, he said.

He said the TDP was in power for 17 years in the united Andhra Pradesh and for two-and-a-half years in the new State.

Referring to late NTR, he said the former Chief Minister had brought in reforms in administration and implemented various schemes, including Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme and construction of pucca houses for the poor. He called upon the youth to draw inspiration from NTR.TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, TDP State president Kala Venkata Rao, TDP State president L Ramana, Ministers N Chinarajappa, Prathipati Pulla Rao, Ravela Kishore Babu, MPs Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Galla Jayadev, TDP leader Revanth Reddy and TDP Guntur district president GV Anjaneyulu were among those present.
