Nellore: MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has criticised Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy for disappearing from the district since February 14. Addressing the media here on Tuesday, the MLC said that six cases were filed against the MLA. He wondered as to why a MLA should hide when cases were filed against him.
Somireddy alleged that Kakani was involved in smuggling of banned drugs, liquor and red sanders logs. The MLA accused in 4 cases, he added.
He demanded the Sarvepalli MLA to prove he was right in leveling allegations against him. He asked the MLA to tender an apology to the constituency people for being away from them.
