Vakati takes oath as MLC
Vakati Narayana Reddy, who was suspended from TDP recently took oath as MLC at the Legislative building at Velagapudi on Monday.
Amaravati: Vakati Narayana Reddy, who was suspended from TDP recently took oath as MLC at the Legislative building at Velagapudi on Monday.
Vakati, who won the MLC elections under local bodies quota from Nellore, was administered oath by Legislative Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani.
Later speaking to the media persons, Vakati said that he will abide by the decision of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Conceding that there was a delay in repaying the loans which he took from the banks, Vakati added that due to financial slump in the country his business faced some problems.
“Our company had foreign investments for the past several years. We are planning to re-structure the loans and I hope within three months everything will be set right,” he said.
Expressing confidence, he said that he will come out clean from the present allegations and work under the TDP supremo very soon, Vakati said.
