As many as 2,89,766 students passed in the Intermediate advanced supplementary examinations (general) and 7,483 students passed in vocational programme. 

Visakhapatnam: As many as 2,89,766 students passed in the Intermediate advanced supplementary examinations (general) and 7,483 students passed in vocational programme.

The Board of Intermediate Examination conducted the examinations on May 21 and the results were announced by Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao, here on Thursday.

In general stream, a total of 3,74,875 students appeared for the examinations. As many as 1,64,195 candidates achieved 'A' grade, 59,456 candidates scored 'B' grade, 36,986 students passed in 'C' grade while 29,129 students passed in 'D' grade.

In vocational programme 11,995 candidates appeared for the examinations. A total of 3,276 students achieved 'A' grade, 3,743 candidates 'B' grade, 420 students scored 'C' grade while 44 students passed in 'D' grade.

This time as many as 1,76,794 girl students appeared and total of 1,41,849 were passed in General stream while in vocational programme 4,930 students appeared and 3,329 girl students were passed.

On the occasion, Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that Krishna, Nellore and Visakhapatnam stood in the first, second and third places in the pass percentage.

The students who wish to witness their answer sheets and students who want for re-verification of marks have to apply through online before June 16.
