Heavy rainfall predicted in several parts of AP as monsoon advances further
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, several parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to witness heavy rainfall as the southwest monsoon has advanced further into the central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh along with most parts of Rayalaseema, central and north Bay of Bengal.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, several parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to witness heavy rainfall as the southwest monsoon has advanced further into the central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh along with most parts of Rayalaseema, central and north Bay of Bengal.
As per the report, more parts of Rayalaseema and parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh will expect further advancement of Southwest monsoon.
Light rain is expected in Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and interior Tamil Nadu. Several parts in AP received rainfall and parts of Rayalaseema also witnessed light showers.
The weather department has predicted heavy rains in all the districts of North coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for next 24 hours.
