SIT team constituted to probe land scam in Visakhapatnam

Minister Chandrababu Naidu led TDP government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to inquire into the land scam in Visakhapatnam.

Speaking on the same in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh DGP N Sambasiva Rao on Sunday, said that only two villages in Visakhapatnam were reported to have hit with tampering of documents pertaining to land records.

Stating that SIT will begin the probe into the illegal land scam, Mr Rao said that the team would be led by former CBI-DIG Vineet Brijlal, Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Vijaya Saradhi and Visakhapatnam Joint Collector G Srijana.
