Speaking on the occasion, Girvani said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is committed for developing villages. She stated that drinking water will be provided to all villages under NTR Sujala Sravanthi scheme. She assured of permanent solution to drinking water problem in rural villages.

“The Chief Minister has instructed the District Collector that no village in Chittoor district would be left with CC roads. In response to the directions of the Chief Minister, it has been decided to lay 1,000 km distance of CC roads during the year by releasing the required budget too,” she added.

She further said that drinking water would be provided from Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) project by covering majority mandals in Kuppam, Palamaner, Punganur and Thamballapalle. By August 15, HNSS drinking water would be supplied to Kuppam branch canal.

She made an appeal to the public to take active part in the government welfare schemes. She declared that she was releasing the ZP funds equally as per the requirement of the respective mandals. She complimented the ZPTC for doing good job by attending the needs of the people in his respective jurisdiction. ZP CEO Ravi Kumar Naidu, TDP leaders Chandra Prakash, Venkata Sivarami Reddy, Kumara Swamy and others were present.
