He hailed the Prime Minister who has been giving jitters to the tainted with his policies.He said, “2019 elections are very crucial for us and we should not feel over-confident. Nellore is politically active and we need to place all anti-government issues before the voters. Now, per-capita debts are exceeding the per capita income in the State. We have to strive hard for winning 2 MP seats and 10 MLA seats in the district,” he said.

Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy flayed Chandrababu Naidu for making practically impossible assurances like loan waiver to come to power.He said there has been underlying dissatisfaction among all sections of people over the TDP govt performance and it has to be tapped.

He said the YSRCP would welcome the GST and it has only been suggesting slight modifications for the benefit of the poor.
YSRCP district convener and Sarvepalli MLA K Govardhan Reddy said that Jaganmohan Reddy started the party after the death of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy confronting Sonia Gandhi whereas Chandrababu Naidu backstabbed his father-in-law late NTR to secure the reins of the party.

Venugopal Yadav, plenary observer from East Godavari district, said even now people were praising the late Chief Minister YSR. He said each and every party activist should strive to see Y S Jagan as the Chief Minister. Tirupati MP Dr Varaprasada Rao alleged that the State government has been distributing funds obtained from the Centre to the party workers.

Nellore ZP Chairman B Raghavendra Reddy suggested not to repeat the mistakes done in the earlier elections and all sections of the party have to work hard. Party senior leader N Prasanna Kumar Reddy suggested to the party workers not be overconfident and educate people on the anti-people policies being adopted by the State government.

Nellore Rural MLA K Sridhar Reddy said the state would not have been divided if former Chief Minister YSR had been alive and explained various programmes he introduced.City MLA Anil Kumar said welfare of common people in the State is possible with only Jagan.
