Ch.Vijaya Rao took over charge as Guntur urban police district S.P. In the recent IPS officers transfers, Guntur urban S.P.Sarva Sresta Tripati was shifted to Krishna district. Ch.Vijaya Rao was posted in his place. As soon as Vijaya Rao took over charge,he attended grievance day to received petitions from the people in the DPO.

Speaking on this occasion, he directed to officials to work with commitment and to be responsible. He instructed the police officials immediately respond on the petitions and inform result to him. He said he is very happy to work in Guntur district and stressed on discipline in the department. Earlier, police officials introduced themselves to the new S.P.
