Lokesh vows to develop Nandyal on all fronts

Kurnool: Minister for panchyat raj and information and technology Nara Lokesh said that Nandyal would be developed so much so that everyone would feel proud of being there.
Addressing a gathering at Gospadu on Thursday, as a part of his Nandyal tour, he assured of accelerated development in poll-bound Nandyal constituency.
He unveiled a big picture to youth by promising as many as 2 lakh jobs across the state. The minister reiterated that the government waived Rs 25,000 crore loan debt to help farmers, despite state having deficit budget.
Later, he participated in a series of functions organised by local leadership at Kanala, Julepalli, Pasurupadu and other villages under Nandyal constituency. Lokesh promised of more development, if TDP voted to power in the by-polls.
He said that the government was committed to provide drinking water to every household, besides laying of CC roads in all villages in the entire state. Criticising the previous Congress rule, Lokesh charged the party with working for the benefit of its leaders and ignoring people of Nandyal.
“The TDP government will strive to develop Nandyal on all fronts that every voter of this area will feel proud to stay here,” he vowed and assured the self-help groups that he would extend Rs 4,000 to each woman of the group.
Tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya said developments at Nandyal could be seen visibly. “It is the dream of my father to create better facilities to the people of Nandyal and the dream almost all came true. The Chief Minister is treating me as his own daughter,” she remarked.
At Kanala Village, Lokesh and Akhila Priya performed bhumi puja for Rs 6.23 crore development works in the village. Municipal administration minister Narayana and industries minister Amaranatha Reddy were also present.
