Visakhapatnam: A day before when a group of students staged a protest over technical glitch developed in more than 200 systems while they were taking APPSC Group – II online exam at the GITAM University, APPSC chairman Uday Bhaskar visited the test centre in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

After conducted a preliminary inquiry into the issue, the Chairman said the exam has been stalled due to server issues. “Till date, we never came across such issues. But, the problem has been occurred only at GITAM and at a college in Chirala. No action can be taken on educational managements,” he clarified.

Even if server goes down, the test takers need to wait till it gets reconnected to continue with the exam, he said. It is learnt that students were unable to take test only because they came out of the exam centre, the Chairman maintained.
