Kerala overall champ
Kerala state lifted the overall championship in 57th Inter State Senior National Athletics Championship which was concluded at Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) in Guntur district on Tuesday. Kerala won highest medals and scored 159 points to win the first place.

In women section, Kerala athletes got 105 points while men secured 54 points with a total of 159 points. Kerala emerged women's championship with 105 points followed by Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
Haryana bagged men’s championship with 79 points followed by Tamil Nadu and Kerala states. Tamil Nadu state team stood second in overall championship.
Host Andhra Pradesh team stood in ninth place in overall positions. The AP team got seventh place in men and 13th position in women's segment. Later, prize distribution function was held at Dieckmann hall in ANU. Guests presented the overall, men and women championships to the winners.
