Cops clueless on bizman’s murder
Even two days after the gory murder of local businessman Vikram Dhamija, the police found no leads into the case. The police released footage from a CCTV camera which showed how Vikram was stabbed several times leading to his death.

The sensational murder sent shocking waves to the residents of posh localities in the city and the associations of various apartments have started installing CCTV cameras and doubled the restrictions for entry of visitors.
The CCTV footage showed that a six-member gang had come to the Sea Surf Apartment on July 17 around at 3.30 pm while two of them waited down in the cellar and four entered Dhamija’s flat at around 3.36 pm.
The doorbell was answered by Vikram’s driver and the assailants had asked in Hindi ‘Saab hai kya’. The driver made the four members to sit in the office room and informed Vikram, who was resting in one of the bedrooms.
When Vikram and his wife were about to go to the office room located next to the bedroom, the driver wanted to go out of the apartment. He was stopped and stabbed first. Then the assailants entered Vikram’s office room and stabbed him repeatedly. His wife, who had come to his rescue, was also stabbed.
However, Vikram’s school going daughter, who was present in the house, was spared. Vikram succumbed to his injuries on July 18 evening.

Meanwhile, residents of all posh colonies began installing high end CCTV cameras at strategic points of their apartments. They have also decided to appoint youngsters and well-built persons as security guards.
