Regional volleyball meet today
Regional volleyball sports meet will be held in Kendriya Vidyalayam at Nallapadu in Guntur city three days from tomorrow, in which over four hundred players from Telangana and A.P. state will participate.
Guntur: Regional volleyball sports meet will be held in Kendriya Vidyalayam at Nallapadu in Guntur city three days from tomorrow, in which over four hundred players from Telangana and A.P. state will participate.
In the under 14- boys team, nine teams will participate, where as under 19-boys team, 11 teams have already registered their names to participate . Indian volley ball team former captain Singa Rao will supervise the competitions. The Kendriya Vidyalayam authorities have made all the arrangements to conduct the competitions.
CID circle inspector Mallikarjuna Rao will inaugurate the regional volleyball sports meet at 9 am on Monday. The winners may participate in the national level tournament will be held in Guwahati soon.
Kendriya Vidyalayam principal Mande Rajeswara Rao said “All the arrangements for conducting the regional volley ball sports meet in the Kendriya Vidyalayam in Nallapadu have been made”. Sports meet organising convener Kiran Reddy said that they will provide all the necessary facilities to the players who participate in the tournament.
